1. Acceptance of these terms
By booking or using Another World VR — Etobicoke (the “Arena”), you agree to these Terms of Service. The Arena is operated by Trikul Group Inc. (DBA Another World VR — Etobicoke), located at 3299 Lakeshore Blvd W, Etobicoke, ON M8W 1M8. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not book or visit.
2. Booking & payment
Sessions can be booked online or by visiting the Arena during operating hours (Tuesday–Friday 4–10 PM, Saturday–Sunday 2–10 PM; closed Monday). All prices are listed in Canadian dollars; HST applies on top of listed prices unless otherwise stated.
Pending client review
Deposit percentage required to secure a booking needs confirmation — the terms-and-conditions PDF references 50%, while recent email guidance suggested 25%. The final figure will replace this callout.
Deposits are non-refundable but may be transferable to a rescheduled session — see Cancellations below.
3. Arrival, late arrivals & session length
Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your booked start time for check-in, waiver signing (see our Waiverpage), and safety briefing. Sessions start promptly at the booked time. Late arrivals shorten the play time available to you; we cannot extend into another party's booking.
4. Cancellations, rescheduling & refunds
Pending client review
Cancellation window and refund policy pending confirmation.
In general, cancellations made with sufficient notice can be rescheduled to another available date. No-shows forfeit any deposit paid.
5. Gift cards
Gift cards are non-refundable, carry no cash value, and are valid for one year from the purchase date. Gift cards can be applied toward any session or package at the Arena.
6. Arena rules & conduct
To keep the Arena fun and safe for everyone:
- Listen to staff at all times
- Stay in the marked play zone during sessions
- No alcohol, cannabis, or other impairment — before or during play
- Respect other guests, staff, and equipment
- Report any equipment issue, injury, or safety concern immediately
We may refuse service or end a session without refund if these rules are not followed.
7. Age, supervision & parental presence
Pending client review
Minimum age to play: the terms-and-conditions PDF states 6+, while our current FAQ states 7+. Shipped default here is 7+ to match the live FAQ; final number to be confirmed.
Minimum age to play is 7. Any player under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who signs the waiver on their behalf (see our Waiver). Certain games have higher per-title age minimums, noted at time of booking.
8. Equipment care
Our VR equipment is specialised and expensive. Normal use is covered; wilful damage, loss, or use contrary to staff instruction is not. You are responsible for the replacement cost of equipment you damage through misuse.
9. Food & drink
Pending client review
Outside food policy: recent email guidance said guests are welcome to bring their own food with no restrictions, while the terms-and-conditions PDF mentions a convenience fee. Exact policy to replace this callout.
Guests are welcome to bring their own food and cake for birthday and corporate bookings; the Arena provides the event room, table, and setup. Any applicable fees are confirmed at the time of booking.
10. Photography & media consent
From time to time we photograph or video common Arena areas for marketing purposes. Attending the Arena is deemed consent to appear incidentally in such material. If you prefer not to appear, please tell a staff member on arrival and we will accommodate your request. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle media.
11. Limitation of liability
Free-roam VR involves physical activity and inherent risks. Before playing, every participant (or their parent/guardian) signs a waiver acknowledging those risks. To the maximum extent permitted by Ontario law, Trikul Group Inc.'s liability arising from your use of the Arena is limited to the amount you paid for the specific session.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version here with a revised “Last updated” date. Material changes will be noted on the site for 30 days before they take effect.
13. Governing law & dispute resolution
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms will be resolved in the courts of Ontario.
