Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

We are Trikul Group Inc., doing business as Another World VR — Etobicoke. Our arena is located at 3299 Lakeshore Blvd W, Etobicoke, ON M8W 1M8. We operate a private free-roam virtual reality entertainment venue.

2. What information we collect

We collect personal information in three ways.

You provide it to us

When you claim your free 15-minute trial, ask about a birthday or corporate event, or contact us, we collect your name, email address, phone number, how you heard about us, and anything you include in a message.

We collect it automatically

When you visit etobicokevrarena.ca, our servers log standard request information — IP address, browser type, referring page, and which pages you view. These logs are retained for approximately 90 days for security and diagnostic purposes.

Embedded third-party content

Our location page embeds a Google Maps view. When you interact with that embed, Google may collect information about you subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

3. Why we collect it

We use the information you provide to:

• Respond to your trial claim, quote request, or question
• Confirm and deliver booked sessions
• Send booking-related communications (confirmations, reminders)
• If you have opted in: send marketing about new games, promotions, and events
• Operate and improve the website

4. Legal basis & consent (CASL)

We operate under Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). We will only send you commercial electronic messages if you have given us express consent— meaning you have checked an unchecked consent box on a form — or where a narrow CASL exemption applies (such as a direct inquiry you've made to us).

We record the date, time, and IP address of your consent. You can withdraw consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in any message, or by contacting us via our Unsubscribe page.

5. Where data lives

Your information stays in Canada. We store customer data on encrypted servers in our Montreal data centre, and our website runs in the same region. We do not transfer your personal information outside Canada for routine business operations.

Backups are encrypted and retained inside Canada.

6. Third-party service providers

Once our full booking workflow is active, we will share limited information with:

• Amazon Web Services (Canada / Montreal) — our database + hosting infrastructure
• Resend — our transactional email provider

Each service has its own privacy practices; we use only the minimum data each requires to do its job, and we review each provider for compliance with Canadian privacy requirements.

7. How long we keep your information

We retain personal information only as long as we need it:

• Trial-claim leads: up to 24 months from your last activity with us, unless you ask us to delete earlier
• Booking records: 7 years, as required by Canadian tax law
• Marketing consent list: until you unsubscribe

8. Your rights

Under PIPEDA, you have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Withdraw consent to future communications
• Request deletion of your information

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@etobicokevrarena.ca. We will respond within 30 days.

9. Cookies & analytics

Our site uses only essential cookies needed for navigation and security. We do not run website analytics or tracking scripts at this time. If that changes, we will update this policy and re-seek consent where required.

10. Children's privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent. Anyone under 18 must attend with a parent or legal guardian, who signs our on-arrival waiver on their behalf. If you believe we hold information about your child that was submitted without your consent, email privacy@etobicokevrarena.ca and we will delete it.

11. Security

We protect your information with TLS encryption in transit, encrypted storage at rest, and role-based access controls that limit who at Another World can view customer records. No system is perfectly secure; we take reasonable and commercially appropriate safeguards consistent with industry practice.

12. Data breach notification

If a breach creates a real risk of significant harm to you, we will notify you directly and report the breach to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, as required under PIPEDA.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top. Material changes will also be announced on our site for 30 days.
